Use a mini trigger sprayer when you want trigger-style spraying on a smaller bottle. It suits travel and trial sizes, hair care, body and room sprays, and any product where a full-size trigger would look or feel too big. APG's Infinity Mini Trigger is all-plastic and comes in 24/410 and 28/410 neck sizes.

What a mini trigger sprayer is

A mini trigger is a scaled-down trigger sprayer. It works like a full-size trigger: squeeze the lever, a piston pushes liquid through the nozzle, and the trigger springs back to draw the next dose. The head is smaller, so it sits well on smaller bottles and in smaller hands.

It sits between two other formats. A full-size trigger gives a bigger, bolder spray and a larger grip. A fine mist sprayer is pressed with one finger and gives a light, even mist. The mini trigger gives you the squeeze action of a trigger in a compact size.

When a mini trigger is the right choice

Your bottle is small

A full-size trigger on a small bottle can look top-heavy and tip over. A mini trigger keeps the package balanced. The 24/410 neck option opens up smaller bottles that a 28mm full-size trigger cannot fit.

You want a trigger feel, not a mist

Some products work better with a squeeze than a finger press. Detanglers, leave-in conditioners and texturizing sprays are applied in repeated sprays across the hair. A trigger is easier on the hand for that than a finger pump.

You sell travel, trial or gift sizes

If your full-size product uses a trigger, a mini trigger lets the smaller size feel like the same product. That consistency helps in travel kits, sample programs and gift sets.

Shelf and storage space are tight

A smaller head takes less room on shelf, in a bathroom cabinet, in a gym bag or in a shipping carton.

The product is used close up

Spot cleaners, small-surface sprays and grooming products are used in short, targeted bursts. A compact trigger gives good control for that kind of use.

Mini trigger vs full-size trigger vs fine mist

Use this table to check you are picking the right format before you spec it.

Format How it is used Typical bottle Good for APG example
Full-size trigger Whole-hand squeeze Larger bottles on a 28mm neck Household cleaners, garden products, large hair care sizes Infinity Trigger Sprayer (28mm ratchet, 28/410, 28/400)
Mini trigger Smaller squeeze, two or three fingers Small to mid-size bottles Hair care, body and room sprays, travel and trial sizes, spot cleaners Infinity Mini Trigger (24/410, 28/410)
Mini foaming trigger Smaller squeeze that delivers foam Small to mid-size bottles Foaming cleansers and cleaners Infinity Mini Foaming Trigger
Fine mist sprayer One-finger press Small to mid-size bottles Face mists, setting sprays, toners, body and room mists Infinity HV Fine Mist Sprayer (20/410, 24/410, 28/410)

Choosing between 24/410 and 28/410

The Infinity Mini Trigger comes in two neck sizes. Both use a 410 thread, which has a tall skirt and gives a secure seal.

  • 24/410 fits bottles with a 24mm neck. It suits smaller bottles and slimmer shapes, such as travel sizes and compact hair sprays.
  • 28/410 fits bottles with a 28mm neck. It suits mid-size bottles, and it lets you put a smaller trigger head on a bottle that would otherwise take a full-size trigger.

Bottle size and neck size are not locked together, so confirm the neck finish on your bottle drawing. If the same product comes in two sizes, check whether both bottles share a neck. Using one neck size across a range can simplify ordering. Our neck finish and dosage guide covers how to read a finish.

Output per stroke for the Infinity Mini Trigger is not listed here. Ask us about available options, and tell us how much product you want per squeeze.

What to test before you launch

  1. Fit and torque. Confirm the neck finish, set application torque and check for leaks after a rest period.
  2. Dip tube length. Small bottles leave little room for error. Make sure the tube reaches near the bottom without curling.
  3. Spray pattern. Check the pattern with your formula from first stroke to nearly empty.
  4. Hand feel. Have people with different hand sizes try it. A mini trigger should feel comfortable for repeated sprays.
  5. Stability and storage. Store filled samples under your usual conditions and recheck priming and output.
  6. Shipping. Run a shipping trial with your full pack-out if you sell online.

Common questions

What is the difference between a mini trigger and a fine mist sprayer?

A mini trigger is squeezed with several fingers and gives a trigger-style spray. A fine mist sprayer is pressed with one finger and gives a lighter, more even mist.

Does the Infinity Mini Trigger have any metal parts?

No. It is all-plastic, so no metal touches the formula.

Which neck sizes are available?

24/410 and 28/410. Match the size to your bottle's neck finish.

Can I use a mini trigger on a full-size bottle?

If the bottle has a 28/410 neck, yes. Check that the spray output suits the product and the bottle size.

Is there a foaming version?

Yes. The Infinity Mini Foaming Trigger is all-plastic and delivers foam instead of spray.
